CIBSE NSW and Living Future Institute Australia present Biophilia for Engineers

The term ‘biophilic design’ is being both increasingly used and increasingly misunderstood. As part of the Living Future Institute of Australia (LFIA)’s Biophilic Design Initiative, leading experts are delivering educational workshops and seminars for designers and building operators to learn the best practice methods for integrating biophilic design into building projects, both new and existing.

At this event, Stephen Choi (LFIA) will take you through an introduction to biophilic design, including identification of the patterns and elements that can be incorporated into a building. Suzie Barnett (Junglefy) and Sacha Coles (ASPECT Studios) will then share case studies of how biophilic design has been successfully applied, ending with an open discussion for those in the room to contribute their experiences and questions.

Following the presentations, guests will be given the opportunity for a tour of Caroma on Collins Flagship inspiration space and to hear Caroma’s company ethos, and their take on water saving & sustainability.
