On Tuesday 17th of March, the LFIA was pleased to welcome Amanda Sturgeon, Executive Director of the ILFI to Sydney. Amanda presented the full-day training course in the latest version of the Living Building Challenge (LBC), which covers the framework in detail – from its overarching philosophy through the detail of each petal and imperative, illustrated with case study examples from around the world.
Gathering a range of professionals as well as students, the workshop was a great opportunity for a highly interactive and collegial discussion to better understand the LBC, as well as share interests and experiences related to restorative and regenerative design.
It was great to see this effusion of passion to move towards a better and more sustainable future, and we left the workshop inspired and with a head full of new ideas. Such an energising day thanks to this beautiful program, and thanks to Amanda!
