Communications and Community Officer

Use your storytelling and digital marketing skills to grow our influence and inspire our regenerative design community! You’ll be a crucial part of a tight-knit team that collaborates on a variety of projects, programs and campaigns.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for LFIA communications across digital, print and events. You should have some experience with digital communications channels, content creation and management. You’ll also support the team with administration and operations, particularly with membership.

If you’re passionate about regenerative design and want to use your communication skills to support this movement, this role is for you!

Location: This is a remote-work position ideally Sydney or Melbourne based, however, would consider anywhere on Australia’s east coast for the right person.
Employment type: Part-time, 4 days per week. Initially offered as a 6-month fixed-term role, beginning August 2023 with the potential to extend.

Panel Member: Biophilic Design Advisory

The Living Future Institute Australia (LFIA) launched the Biophilic Design Initiative to provide education and knowledge-sharing opportunities, to inspire built environment professionals, and to reconnect everyone with the natural world, of which we are part. We work closely with our Biophilic Design Advisory Panel (BDIAP) to further our biophilic design advocacy work.

The BDIAP has played a pivotal role in supporting the LFIA with:

Position: Voluntary 2-year term position with 3 possible renewals. An average 0.5 day per month time commitment with Quarterly meetings and reporting to the LFIA team.
