The Living Future Institute of Australia UnSymposium Sprint 2018 was run alongside the Symposium, with a team of students giving their all to respond to a brief for a Living Future.
Facilitated by Dominique Hes (Director of the Thrive Research Hub, University of Melbourne), students were asked to imagine a place where all primary and high school students could go to be immersed in indigenous culture and knowledge systems.
They then needed to create a design brief to both meet the Living Building Challenge and really embed an understanding and reverence for past wisdom.
To close off the Sprint, the team presented to all of the attendees at the end of the Symposium and answered questions from industry specialists.
